Molly Shannon, Molly Shannon- YOU THINK YR THE DOCTOR, I THINK I'M THE SHERIFF

Well, I'm an idiot. Turns out the other MoSha MoSha release was still up for download for free on the band's last.fm page. I'm still listning to it as I'm typing this up and it's just as good as the last one I posted. It sounds  little bit more put together, a bit more amped up on some songs, not as spread out as if/ P/ ~P, and at times sounds quite a bit like vintage Modest Mouse.

Molly Shannon, Molly Shannon-If / P / ~P

This band is hard to get info on. Their website and Myspace have both been deleted and I can't find a copy of thier other album "You Think Yr the Doctor, I think I'm the Sheriff" anywhere which is a shame because I really want more of this stuff. This album though, is 3 discs of untitled weirdness, and inspiring clumsiness. I can't stop listening to it. I have a feeling this is going to be the "Heart Full of Sorrow" of the first bit of 2010 for me. If I ever do find a link for their other release, which i really hope I can, I'll be sure to post it.

Also, just to let you know, this is what MoSha MoSha look like:

The Mall-Emergency At The Everyday

The Mall were a band from SF who broke up a while ago. They were amazing. This album is 17 and a half minutes long. It's rad.

Superdivorce-This is Haunting & Other Daymares

I'm not even going to try to describe this.

Papercuts-Mockingbird

Nothing new here, but I can still leave this on repeat for hours upon hours and not get sick of a single song.

St. Mawr-Sweaty Palms

So my friend Jane showed me this band the other night before a Party which was supposed to be a "Pure Moods" theme party and ended up being something completely different which involved a lot of gin and hip-hop. Anyways, the band's St. Mawr from right here in SF. I guess these kids went to high school with Jane and a friend of hers started up a label called Cut Division just so he could put this out. Rightfully so, it's good, take my word for it.

PS- I've got a whole mess of new stuff to upload, I'll work on getting it all up throughout tonight. I've been lazy and without headphones so actually getting around to listening to new stuff has been tough recently.
